This Bible study uses materials from Little Rock Scripture Study (littlerockscripture.org). Sometimes we study a particular book of the Bible (e.g., Genesis), or a theme (e.g., The Holy Spirit in the Bible). The length of the study depends on the topic, usually 4 to 10 weeks. We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 AM during the school year (September through May, no December meetings) in the St. Katharine Drexel Conference Room downstairs in the parish hall.

NEW BIBLE STUDY BEGINS SEPTEMBER 2026

Whether you have had a lot of experience with Scripture, or not very much at all, you can benefit from this course. Have you ever wondered about the difference between Catholic and Protestant Bibles? Is there a difference in the way Catholics study and use Scripture in liturgy and prayers? What is meant by “divine inspiration”? How has the Second Vatican Council shaped the way Catholics think about and interpret Sacred Scripture? We will explore these questions and much more in a 7-week course entitled, An Introduction to the Bible.
